Log-In sees an all-time high in revenue in the first quarter of 2022

Log-In recently released its financial and operating results for the first quarter of 2022. Between January and March 2022, the company recorded a record for the fourth consecutive quarter, reaching R$ 388.4 million, an increase of 30.9% compared to the same period in 2021.
As for EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization), the company also saw a record for the period, R$ 114.1 million, that is, a growth of 62% compared to 1Q21.
In addition, revenue from the Coastal Shipping service, with R$ 299.6 million, reached a record number for the first quarter since the beginning of operations. EBITDA was R$104.8 million, representing an increase of 99.1% compared to the same period of the previous year. From January to March, the company handled a volume of containers of 98.9 thousand TEUs in cabotage alone, an increase of 8.1% compared to the same period in 2021.
The Vila Velha Port Terminal (TVV) was responsible for R$ 32 million, a growth of 12.7% compared to the first quarter of 2021. TVV showed an increase of 29% in revenue compared to the same period, with R$ 77.1 million in net operating income. The terminal handled 286,800 tonnes of general cargo from January to March and 40,000 containers.
The acquisition of new customers, the diversification of cargo, and the increase in revenue from feeder operations and Mercosul trade, as well as the volume of general cargo at TVV were the main factors responsible for boosting the company’s results.
