In total, Brazilian exports of chicken meat in the nine months reached the mark of 3.666 million tonnes, a growth of 5.8% compared to the same period in 2021.

“Brazil has established its potential and continues to expand in this market, where it is already the largest producer and exporter of halal chicken meat worldwide. This scenario was motivated by several factors, including higher international prices and the volume increase in imports by League of Arab States nations,” according to Ahmad M. Saifi, Director of Operations at CDIAL Halal.

CDIAL Halal is the Latin American certifier accredited by the central official bodies of the United Arab Emirates (EIAC) and the Gulf (GAC), which confers seriousness and competence in the market segments they oversee. It is also the first in Latin America to grant certificates for cosmetics and pharmaceuticals. This certification is accepted all over the world, including in countries with the largest Muslim population, such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, and the Persian Gulf (or Arab Gulf).
