At the Valparaiso Port Terminal (TPV), maritime operators await the completion of the 1,588 pallet loading operation of fresh fruits onto the Cool Royal ship, marking the beginning of the 2023-2024 export season. In addition, the vessel will load 40 containers and unload another 90.

In less broad terms, the ship, affiliated with Cool Carriers and managed by the company Marval, will be responsible for transporting Chilean agricultural products to the North American East Coast, docking at the Gloucester Port, New Jersey.

The loading operations are taking place at Berth 6 and were scheduled to conclude on the morning of Monday, February 5, according to the Valparaiso Port Company (EPV).

Following its departure from TPV, the Cool Royal plans its next stop at the Port of Coquimbo, where it will repeat the operation that occurred in Valparaiso. The loading process will extend until Thursday, February 8.

Under the auspices of the direct services offered by Cool Carriers to the North American market, the refrigerated ship is expected to arrive at the Gloucester City Terminal, associated with Holt Logistics, on Thursday, February 22, as indicated in the shipping company’s schedule.

It’s worth noting that another Cool Carriers ship, the Ivar Reefer, is also loading pallets with fresh fruits at the Valparaiso Port, specifically at Berth 5 of the South Pacific Terminal (TPS).
