Brazilian pork exports (both fresh and processed) reached 105.7 thousand tonnes in November, as reported by the Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA). This volume is 13.2% higher than the same period in 2022, which saw exports of 93.4 thousand tonnes.

In terms of revenue, the sector’s sales totaled US$ 225.8 million in November, representing a 2.3% decrease compared to the result recorded in the eleventh month of 2022, amounting to US$ 230.5 million.

Considering the year-to-date (January to November), the sector’s exports show a 10% increase, with 1.118 million tonnes exported in 2023, compared to 1.017 million tonnes last year.

During the same period, accumulated revenue reached US$ 2.586 billion, marking an 11.5% increase over the total recorded in 2022, US$ 2.319 billion.

“The exports this month once again surpassed the 100,000-ton mark. Shipments seen until November already equal and exceed, in revenue, the total recorded throughout 2022. The numbers confirm the initial projections for exports this year,” said ABPA President Ricardo Santin.
