Police seize 290 kg of cocaine in São Paulo’s Port of Santos

Brazil’s Federal Police, the Navy, and the Revenue Service on Monday (Jan. 16) seized approximately 290 kg of cocaine in the Port of Santos, in São Paulo. The narcotic was found in the hull of a ship loaded with cellulose and anchored in the anchorage area of the Port of Santos.
According to the agents, the ship’s final destination was the Port of Marta, Turkey. The inspection dive operation was conducted by the Federal Police, the Revenue Service, and the Navy. The drugs will be analyzed to support the investigation.
