“There was widespread growth in the various export destinations for Brazilian chicken meat in October, maintaining the positive projections forecast by ABPA for 2021. At the same time, the significant increase in export revenue has balanced the impacts of increased production costs that have accumulated since last year”, evaluates the president of ABPA, Ricardo Santin.

Leader among the main importers of chicken meat in Brazil, China was the destination of 51,200 tons in October, a volume 2.5% higher than that registered in October 2020. Other main buyers were Japan, importing 47,200 tons (+60.4%), The United Arab Emirates, with 43,600 tons (+108.1%), South Africa, with 23,600 tons (+1.3%), and the European Union, with 19,700 tons (+49.6%).
