Kuehne+Nagel and Nacora Blue partner up to protect the oceans

Kuehne+Nagel, one of the world’s leading maritime and air logistics companies, in partnership with insurance broker Nacora through its Nacora Blue service, announced that all shipments sent by the company in Latin America will automatically contribute to marine life and biodiversity preservation.
This initiative stems from an agreement between Kuehne+Nagel and the Megafauna Foundation (MFF). For each shipment insured by Kuehne+Nagel’s clients through Nacora’s “e-insurance” digital system, a portion of the resources is allocated to fund projects led by the non-profit organization MFF.
Initiated in 2022, this unique partnership establishes Kuehne+Nagel as the first global logistics operator to offer customers an insurance solution that ensures the safety of shipments and directly contributes to the restoration and protection of marine life and the health of oceans.
Beyond financial support, the partnership between Kuehne+Nagel, Nacora Blue, and MFF aims to engage in broader initiatives to preserve the marine ecosystem.
The goal is to inspire institutions, companies, and individuals to take concrete actions, analyze data, educate communities, and care for marine life.
Cargo insurance is globally supported by Zurich Insurance Company Ltd. and AXA XL, underscoring the international commitment of these organizations to sustainable development and the preservation of marine ecosystems.
