Klabin announced this Thursday that the scheduled date to begin the first stage of the Puma II Project has been changed to the second half of August.
Previously, this move was planned for the second half of July.
“This change is due to specific contingencies in the commissioning processes and pre-operational tests, and does not change the total investment foreseen for the project”, he explained in a relevant fact to the Securities Commission (CVM).
The Puma II Project, approved in 2019, will expand the capacity in the packaging paper segment through the construction of two paper machines with integrated pulp production at the Puma industrial unit in Ortigueira (PR).
