Cotton: Brazil exports 34.255 thousand tonnes in June

According to the data released by the Ministry of Development, Industry, Commerce, and Services, Brazilian raw cotton exports reached 34.255 thousand tonnes during the third week of June, corresponding to 11 working days. This translates to a daily average of 3.114 thousand tonnes.
The revenue generated from these exports amounted to US$ 66.315 million, with a daily average of US$ 6.028 million.
Comparing these figures to the same period in the previous year, there was a 4.3% increase in the daily volume of cotton exported (2.987 thousand tonnes daily in June 2022). However, there was a significant decrease of 20.3% in daily revenue (US$ 7.561 million daily in June 2022).
