Brazil’s soybean exports are expected to reach 3.39 million tons in January, according to the National Association of Cereal Exporters (Anec). The revisited figure is a decrease compared to the 4.32 million that had been projected last week.

In January 2021, soybean supply had been affected by limited carryover stocks and late harvests; thus, Brazil only shipped 53.6 thousand tons.

As for maize, Anec predicts the shipment of nearly 2.7 million tons in January, a slight increase compared to the 2.68 million that had been forecasted before.

In January 2021, corn shipments reached 2.16 million tons according to the data.
