Ship fire mobilizes firefighters at the Port of Santos

On Monday morning (6), a fire broke out in the engine room of a ship docked at Warehouse 29 at the Port of Santos.
According to the Fire Department, the corporation was called at 7:31 am to contain the flames on the Philippine ship Sol do Brasil. Three teams went to the site with 12 firefighters.
The fire was brought under control, and there were no casualties.
Before arriving at the Port of Santos, the vessel underwent an 11-day voyage, coming from the port of Wilmington in the United States.
