Vopak will implement tanking park at the Port of Pecém

The Government of the State of Ceará, through the Pecém Industrial and Port Complex (CIPP), announced the result of the public call for the implementation of the new Port of Pecém Tanking Park and its Retroport in the Pecém Industrial and Port Complex. Vopak Brazil, a subsidiary of the Dutch multinational, was the selected company.

The company won against Transpetro/BR/Liquigás and will be responsible for deploying, operating, and maintaining the fuel loading, unloading, storage, and distribution system in Pecém.

After the appeal deadline, Cipp will sign the commitment agreement with Vopak Brazil. The Dutch company already operates in the Port of Santos (SP).
