Port of Imbituba has new executive board

On February 18, the board of directors of SCPAR Porto de Imbituba, administrator of the public port located in the southern region of Santa Catarina, approved the new composition of the executive board of the port authority. Fábio dos Santos Riera assumes the position of Chief Executive Officer together with the Infrastructure and Logistics Directorate. The accountant Fabrício Santos Debortoli, a professional with experience in executive positions and governance boards of large companies, joins the team as  Administrative and Financial Director.

Chief Executive Officer: Fábio Riera
Fábio Riera has served on SCPAR Porto de Imbituba’s Infrastructure and Logistics board since July 2020. He has a 30-year career as an officer of the Brazilian Navy (MB). He manned several MB and merchant marine vessels and was also a representative of the Maritime Authority at the Port Authority in Macaé (RJ). Commander Riera has a master’s degree in marine science, an MBA in shipping, and a specialization in business management. In addition to vast experience in maritime and fluvial navigation, he is skilled in business administration and management, vessel maintenance, operational control of vessels, port/flag state control inspections, GINSP Petrobras, ANVISA, and audits in ISM/ISPS CODE.

Administrative and Financial Director: Fabrício Debortoli
Fabrício Debortoli has a degree in accounting specializing in tax analysis. He has more than 15 years of experience working in the financial area of the electric, petrochemical, and oil/gas sectors. He was an executive at Celesc, Videolar, Innova, and Gaspart Participações. He also served on fiscal boards and/or board of directors at Celesc, Casan, Eternit, G20 Participações and as an alternate at Petrobrás. He is currently a fiscal advisor at Usiminas and a management advisor at Celesc.
