
Italian Food and Beverage Exports to Brazil Rise 6.96% in 2024

Italian exports of food and beverages to Brazil grew by 6.96% in 2024 compared to the previous year, according to Brazil’s Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade, and Services. In monetary terms, imports rose from USD 362.2 million to USD 387.4 million.
The data also show that this upward trend has been consistent since 2020.
Among the most imported items in 2024, pasta stood out with a 16.1% increase, followed by tomato sauces (up 4.1%) and olive oils, which recorded a significant 35.7% growth.
Italian coffee exports to Brazil increased by 28% in the beverage segment.
These and other Italian products will be featured at a food and beverage trade fair in São Paulo from May 12 to 15.
Coordinated by the Italian Trade Agency (ITA/ICE), APAS Show 2025 will take place at Expo Center Norte and will host around 17 leading Italian companies from the sector.
