Industrial representative organs unite to promote Brazilian agribusiness exports

The Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brazil) has just launched the second cycle of the Brazilian Agribusiness Market Access Program (PAM AGRO), which will be implemented over the next two years. The objective of it is to boost exports by improving the perception of strategic international markets for Brazilian agribusiness products, through a concentrated effort to produce and disseminate information that emphasizes sustainability, safety and technology of the products. The focus of this edition is the European continent, considered a great influencer of international public opinion and one of the main destinations for exports from Brazil.

In all, 14 sector entities are working together with Apex-Brasil in implementing the Program: Brazilian Agribusiness Association (ABAG); Brazilian Association of the Food Industry (ABIA); Brazilian Association of Meat Exporting Industries (ABIEC); Brazilian Association of Vegetable Oil Industries (ABIOVE); Brazilian Association of Animal Protein (ABPA); Brazilian Association of Fruit and Derivative Exporters (ABRAFRUTAS); Brazilian Association of Cotton Producers (ABRAPA); Association of Biofuel Producers of Brazil (APROBIO); Brazilian Association of Specialty Coffees (BSCA); National Association of Citrus Juice Exporters (CitrusBR); Confederation of Agriculture and Livestock of Brazil (CNA); CropLife Brazil (CROPLIFE); Organization of Brazilian Cooperatives (OCB); and the Sugarcane Industry Association (UNICA).
