Corn: Argentina’s exports are close to the 10m t threshold

Foreign sales of 2022/23 season corn from Argentina another record as it approached 6 million tonnes, being crowned the largest in history for this time of the year, according to reports available at the Rosario Stock Exchange’s Strategic Guide for Agriculture.
Analysts point out that the next season’s corn has a marketing limit of 10 million t, imposed on its balance volume.
The 2021/22 corn campaign in Argentina already totals foreign sales of 28.5m t, an offer of corn (Production + Stocks) estimated at 53m t, 53.8% of this offer already sold abroad. This number exceeds the 53.7% of last year and the average of 43.2% of the previous five campaigns. The information is from the CMA LatAm Agency.
