Brazilian beef: exports increase 203,200 t in August

Exports of fresh, frozen, or refrigerated Brazilian beef generated a revenue of US$ 1.246 billion in August (23 working days), at a daily average of US$ 54.188 million. The total amount exported by the country reached 203.230 thousand tonnes – daily average of 8.836 thousand tonnes. The average price per tonne was US$ 6,132.00.

Compared to August 2021, August 2022 saw a gain of 15.6% in the average daily value of exports, a rise of 7% in the average daily amount exported, and an increase of 8% in the average price.
In August 2021, Brazil exported 181.6 thousand tonnes of beef, with a revenue of US$ 1.031 billion, at an average price of US$ 5,679.70 per tonne.
