Brazil to ship up to 5,101m tonnes of soybeans in August

Brazilian exports of soybeans are expected to reach 5.101 million tonnes in August, according to a weekly survey by the National Association of Cereal Exporters (ANEC). In August last year, exports stood at 5.792 million tonnes. In July, the country shipped 7.073 million tonnes.
Between July 24 and 30, Brazil shipped 1.375 million tonnes. From July 31 to August 6, Anec indicates exports of 1.923 million tonnes. The forecast for soybean meal is 1.639 million tonnes in August.
The total exported in the same month last year was 1.279 million tonnes. In July, the volume was 2.043 million tonnes. Last week, exports stood at 465,604 tonnes, and the forecast for this week is 707,318.
