Brazil exports 30,000 tons of rice to Venezuela

Brazil has sold its first rice to Venezuela after a 6-month period with no export sales to the neighbouring country. A commodity trading company from the State of Rio Grande sold 30,000 tons of rice to be loaded in the first half of May. The price of the cargo was US$230 per ton.
