Anec raises Brazil’s corn export forecast for August

Corn exports from Brazil in August were estimated on Tuesday, August 9, at up to 7.88 million tonnes versus the 6.221 million tonnes predicted in the previous week, according to the National Association of Cereal Exporters (Anec).
If the projection is confirmed, cereal exports will increase by 3.7 million tonnes compared to August 2021.
Soybean shipments from the country are expected to reach up to 5.67 million tonnes, up from a forecast of 5.1 million the previous week and 5.79 million in August 2021.
