On the morning of Monday, November 7th, a ship ran aground while attempting to maneuver at the Port of Itajaí. The local press office said the incident happened because the tide was too low.
The ship ran aground while making a turn in the area of the maneuvering basin. However, the maneuver was successful, as the tugboats managed to pull the vessel – which arrived at one of Portonave’s berths facing backward.
