Brazil: agricultural machinery exports see 39.1% growth

The Brazilian Machinery and Equipment Industry Association (Abimaq) announced that exports reached USD 8.921 billion from January to September. Such a figure represents a 25.2% growth over the same period in 2021 and is equivalent to 20% of the sector’s total revenue. In terms of units, the growth of exports in the period was 12.8%.
Specifically for agricultural machinery, the export growth in the period was 39.1%. However, compared to August, exports fell by 2.1% in September. The subsector accounted for 16.3% of Abimaq’s exports in the period.
