The Brazilian Federal Revenue Service declared bonded, until April 7, 2026, in accordance with the temporary use agreement signed with Companhia Docas de Santana – CDSA, the port facility, called “Amapá Container Terminal – TECONAP,” located within the Organized Port of Santana, for handling and storing containers with manufactured goods.

The total bonded area corresponds to 23,924m², including, among other buildings, a Container Yard (18,932m²), an Area for Examination and Verification of Goods (1,329.50m²), a Fractionated Goods Warehouse (816.41m²), a Cage Area ( 150m²), a Sensitive Goods Warehouse (148.50m²) and Maneuver Yard Area (1,646.90m²).

Only general containerized cargo can be handled and stored on-site, except for solid and liquid bulk, refrigerated cargo, and products of particular agricultural interest indicated by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (Mapa).

The Federal Service act authorizes the following customs operations and special customs regimes: entry or exit, berthing, parking or transit of vehicles coming from abroad or destined for it; loading, unloading, transshipment, re-destination, storage or passage of goods coming from abroad, or destined for it; clearance of goods under a customs transit regime, under a temporary admission regime or a temporary export regime; completion of export transits and shipments abroad; import clearance, including admission of goods in the Macapá and Santana Free Trade Area (ALCMS); export clearance; customs clearance of unaccompanied baggage; and customs clearance for the internment of goods that are leaving ALCMS.

The bonded area will be under the jurisdiction of the Inspectorate of the Federal Revenue of Brazil in Santana (IRF/STN), which will be responsible for establishing complementary rules that are necessary for fiscal control and will proceed with the monitoring and permanent evaluation of the conditions of its operation. In addition, customs inspection will be carried out occasionally, under the terms of the customs regulation. The act came into force on Monday (20).
