Container operations moving towards normalization at the Port of Santos

The delivery and removal operations of containers that were held up in the port area at the Port of Santos due to the stoppage of autonomous truck drivers that took place since the beginning of the month are finally being normalized.

In negotiations facilitated by ABTRA (the Brazilian association of bonded terminals and enclosures) over the past week, all port operators finally agreed to make the deadlines more flexible for delivery of containers held at the port without the charge for delayed delivery. The retro-port bonded areas are committed to operating the removal of these containers as soon as possible.
