Datamar CEO Andrew Lorimer presents reefer container trends at Cool Logistics

This Tuesday, October 19, Datamar CEO Andrew Lorimer was one of the speakers at Cool Logistics “Global 2021”, the world’s largest conference on cold chain logistics and transportation. The event runs until October 21st and provides several online lectures.
Lorimer spoke about reefer container trends for the East Coast of South America and presented data from DataLiner, Datamar’s foreign trade intelligence system.
Data presented by the executive include the growth of regional exports via reefer containers in recent years, as can be seen in the following graph:

Other DataLiner data presented by Lorimer at the event showed each country’s share percentage of the region’s imports and exports:

The increase in animal protein exports was also one of the highlights, especially the increase in the percentage of Pork in reefer container shipments:
